How I work
Four steps, and not one meeting too many.
Nobody has to learn to use anything. You open your business as you do every day and I work around you.
We talk for twenty minutes
On WhatsApp or in your shop. I look at the place, the light coming in and what you actually sell. The written quote comes out of that.
I film for half a day
One morning a month. You stay open, I do not build a studio and I do not take over your floor. Filming before opening works too.
I edit, grade and subtitle
Colour, sound and burned in subtitles, because almost everyone watches with the sound off. If a piece also has to go out in 16:9 for the website, it is edited in both formats rather than crudely cropped.
You get the files
In one folder, numbered, with a suggested posting order. They are yours, for your own communication, with no time limit.

Questions
What people ask before saying yes.
Do you only do vertical video?
No. Vertical is what gets asked for most because it is what people watch on a phone, but the same filming and editing goes out in 16:9 for your website, for YouTube and for the screen in your shop. Cinematic brand films, menu films for restaurants, photography and editing of material you filmed yourself, all the same.
Can I see examples of your work?
Yes. I send them on WhatsApp when we talk, chosen to match what you sell. There is no gallery on this site on purpose: a gallery shows somebody else's business, and what helps you is seeing something close to yours. The photographs you see here are stock images, and they are described as such.
Which format suits me?
It depends where it will be seen. Social and Google Business, vertical. Website, screen in the shop, presentation and email, widescreen. It usually ends up being both, which is why the same piece is edited in 9:16 and in 16:9 at no extra cost.
How long does it take?
The material from one filming session is delivered within a week. An agency's images, within 72 hours of my receiving them.
Do I have to close the shop to film?
No. I film for half a day with the shop open, in the quieter hours. If you would rather I came before opening, that works too.
Do my staff have to appear?
Only if they want to, and they sign beforehand. The shop, the product and hands at work can all be filmed without a single face.
Who owns the files?
You do, for your own communication, with no time limit and nothing more to pay.
Do you post them for me?
No. I deliver the files and a suggested posting order. Posting is yours, so you never depend on me to do it on the day you want.
Why three months for the shop formula?
Because one month shows nothing. The first is filming, the second is learning what works in your street, the third is repeating what worked.
What if a video does not convince me?
The edit is redone once, at no cost. Filming again does cost, because it is another day of work.
